CRSD is spread globally. Its main office is situated in Tokyo and Osaka, and its overseas offices are located in London, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore. Every office has its role within each region and provides value added information to support both business promotion and the bank’s global operation.
CRSD London office covers the major industries in the entire Europe /Middle East /African region with the analysts holding considerable expertise in areas such as Commodities, Industrials, Infrastructure, Multimedia, Services, Transport and Utilities.
In order to maintain and develop SMBC’s knowledge base for the benefit of our clients, CRSD is constantly developing contacts with major companies, consultancies, analysts in other financial institutions,rating agencies and making presentations at industry conferences. A main aim has been to assess the major impact of industrial structural changes on companies and publish the findings both internally and externally.
