SMBC Americas Hires Dharmesh Sethi to Lead Cash Management Product and Technology

NEW YORK, NY – Dec. 18, 2025 – SMBC Americas Division announced today that Dharmesh Sethi has joined the bank as Head of Cash Management Product & Technology as the global firm continues to strengthen its Americas operating platform and position the franchise for long-term growth.

Dharmesh brings more than two decades of experience leading technology-enabled business transformation, operational execution, and innovation across global financial institutions, including Bank of America and Wells Fargo. His background spans cash management, payments infrastructure, treasury products, and capital markets lifecycle operations.

A managing director based in New York, Dharmesh will partner with Craig Vaream, Head of Cash Management Americas, and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) leadership team across finance, operations, technology, risk, and business management to advance SMBC Americas’ broader transformation agenda.
