Natural resources in the Caspian region are vital both to the future energy policies of both the European Union and Asia. Although several exit routes are already in operation or in the construction stage it is still critical to support fast and steady supply of oil and gas to both Europe and Asia. Such supply is fully dependent on the functionality of various oil and gas pipelines.
