SMBC has assisted customers from Estonia for some time. Most recently SMBC was mandated to arrange a Euro 20 million syndicated EIB guarantee for Eesti Uhispank and a Euro 50 million syndicated loan for Eesti Energia. The facility supported the debut of the bank in financing from EIB.
