The Corporate Banking Department 1 (CBDA1) is the department that provides services to subsidiaries of Japanese and Asian customers. Their businesses include auto related manufacturing, machinery and electronic device manufacturing, trading companies, transportation companies, mining companies, retail companies, real estate companies and many other businesses.
As shown on the map, CBDA-1 services our customers located all over the Americas through business offices in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Mexico City, Bogota, Toronto and Sao Paulo.
Our customers’ businesses are expanding in many areas, including natural resources and infrastructure-related industries, as well as through merger and acquisition activities. To support our customer’s growing needs, CBDA1 is strengthening its internal global cooperation systems throughout the bank, but particularly with our Asian corporate and Latin America desks.
